It seems to me that this is surely the time to study. and hopefully, support thrift centered action.

I am also aware of factors which compete with the culture of Thrift and complicate the activities of those individuals trying to practice it.

I believe there is more to thrift than the monetary management of money. But I think much is required to convince adults and children that careful use of all resources leads to a calmer and happier life.

I was raised in a family where the coat of arms should have displayed the word "Thrift". I have seen the advantages of living in a culture where resources are evaluated, goals are embraced, plans are formulated by all family members and thoughtful action is taken to ensure success.

We need to do everything we can to support, publicize and demonstrate the advantages of Thrift.

Amen. Excellent article on Oct. 12. I look forward to your comments on what is happening. You are right on.We're all guilty of some of what is wrong.--overspending or just not paying attention to people like the clerk in the grocery store. I do believe that the American spirit will triumph and we will find our soul again. And will be grateful for this wakeup call. In the meantime, we so much need people like you who will take the time to reflect our soul to us. Thank you.

Hello!

My name is Dennis Hambley, I'm the producer of the syndicated radio talk
show "Financial Lifeline Radio."

The subject matter is focused on business, investment topics,
precious metals, and how current news events affect the economy.

The show airs live nationally 12P to 2P from Los Angles,
with stations joined by the Salem Radio Network, and XM.
I would like to request an interview with Mr. Wilcox about his book.

The show interviews are by phone, and last 20 minutes.
We would need 30 minutes of your time.

If this is something you would consider, please let me know.

Thank you for your time,

Dennis Hambley

Yes, I think you are very right. The econhomy is contracting--and it has been my thought that it might be good for all of us. If we move away from an excessive materialism to appreciating the small things and saving for the rest.
